Lisa Weatherbee

The tenderness in Lisa Weatherbee’s film “Lin and Daughters” is palpable. Lisa’s empathy comes through, as does her love for New York, food, and the spirit of small children. She told me that since the making of her film, Becky (the subject) has gone on to expand her business by opening a second location, and they’ve also become friends.

Lisa is a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in NYC. In this short film, Lisa demonstrates her core beliefs: that the power of photography shapes our social consciousness, and that she cares deeply about diversity, representation and authenticity.

 She has shot for clients such as Airbnb, Expedia, Liberty Mutual, Red Cross and Warby Parker.
