Vincent Tullo

Vincent Tullo is a New York–based photographer whose portraits demonstrate deep curiosity, a keen eye, and an ability to adapt and improvise when circumstances shift. In just a decade of practice, he's built a body of work that feels both polished and exploratory — one that resists easy categorization. His approach to light, color, and composition shifts with each project: black-and-white interiors, vibrant exteriors, formal setups, spontaneous moments.

His preferred subjects are artists — specifically, artists in their studios. He's drawn to how they work, what they surround themselves with (organizational systems, ephemera, tools), their mannerisms and eccentricities, and what music fills the space while they create.

Between assignments, Vincent explores ideas in his own studio. Experiments from those sessions often find their way into his commissioned work.

He shoots regularly for Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly, The New York Times, and The New York Times Magazine, among other international publications. Commercial clients include Hermès, A+E Networks, and Ford.
